What is Swimming Pool Anti Slip Tape?
Pool Anti Slip Tapes are designed ideally for any slippery wet areas such as swimming pools, underwater non-slip tape, underwater grip, pool steps, and washing facilities, and will help to prevent any unwanted slipping that could be potentially dangerous.
This is because these areas can easily become slippery due to water splashing over from pools etc... These anti slip solutions help to coat the area in a slip resistance coating to help to prevent slippages.
So if you are looking to make pool or other wet areas less slippery, then these anti slip tapes are ideal for most surfaces as long as they are applied correctly, from tile, wood, concrete and more.
These tapes have a high grip and are also both shower and bath safe along with being wide.
Non-slip coating in a wet - or marine environment - has always been a challenge; but, with this slip-resistant tape, you can easily obtain a good non-slip surface.

How to apply swimming pool anti-slip tapes?
To apply this slip-resistant tape, the water level will have to be dropped; as the surface to be bonded to needs to be clean and moisture-free.
If the tape is to remain underwater we recommend our edge fix product which is a fine bead of non-gaseous silicone sealant. This will prevent any corrosion of the adhesive should the water's chemicals come into contact with it.

Answer: Good Afternoon Dave, and thank you for your enquiry. The swimming pool grade anti slip tape would be ideal for this application, but prior to submersion, I would suggest sealing the edges of the tape with our edge fix product. Question: Hi, we are a medical company and have infusion pumps in lock boxes attached to metal drip stands. the weight of the pumps makes the lock box slip down and so nurses over tighten the roller ball clamp and we get cracking of the ABS/PC unit. hoping this will save the day. concerns are around cleaning as bleach solutions used in hospitals to clean equipment - Hellie
Answer: Hi Hellie, The tape should be resistant to any ingress of cleaning solutions, once fixed in place. If you want to make absolutely sure just in case of cross-contamination of chemicals, then you can apply a fine bead of silicone around the edges once the tape is in place. Answer: Hi Kevin, Depending on how porous the ceramic tile is, you may have to prime the surface first to maximise the bond. Thereafter I would recommend sealing around the edges of the tape with a very fine bead of non-gaseous sealant, this will prevent certain chemicals attacking any exposed adhesive - Ian, Product Support Manager

Question: I have a swim spa and want to apply non-slip tape to the submerged steps. The water is chlorinated and kept at 30 degrees Centigrade. From your information, it looks like your swimming pool grade tape with silicone bead around would do the job. How long would the products need to fully set/harden before I could refill the spa?
